Project Description:
Syphon was selected by VML to assist in the development of an extranet offering a set of tools for Bayer Crop Protection sales reps to use out in the field.

Working as a team with the print media vendor, Syphon developed a set of field tools for the sales reps that included:

• A searchable, sortable index of local media contacts
• Tools to select pre-existing testimonials to use in presentations, as well as to collect and submit new testimonials. An administrator can then review and approve these new testimonials, making them available to all field reps.
• A tool to build customized brochures and submit them to the central office for printing
• A tool that allows the sales rep to assemble an article about a product, selecting specific quotes and pieces that best suit the particular situation the sales rep is addressing.

Despite the involvement of multiple vendors this project went very smoothly with all parties working together as a team and assisting each other every step of the way. This was one of Syphon's first projects and it remains one we are very proud of today.
